Y'all will have to let us know what you think about Scorpions since you drew them right outta the chute! I really believe that they will present the most challenge to either Sting or Texans. I'm not discounting Real Colorado as we have played them and lost ( i think it was 2-1) but I think both Sting and Texans play better soccer and are more skilled.

Texans and Scorpions from National League.
I don't think JB Marine and Beadling are in either ... or did I miss them at ENCL?

You are correct in that neither JB Marine or Beadling are in either National League or ECNL but I would assume both will get invites to NL for next year. Scorpions will be joining ECNL for the upcoming year.

With 3 of 6 of the 95s that are going to Nationals in ECNL ... certainly sounds like A bracket is becoming the top league.

What of Hurricanes and Challenge? Does anyone know if they are headed to ECNL?

Will National League #1 and #2 continue to have automatic bid to Nationals?

Seems like ECNL and NL league winners should be the 2 teams with automatic bid to Nationals.

Challenge is already in the ECNL. I'm pretty sure Hurricanes applied but they didnt get in since Region 3 was already so heavily represented and the league was looking for more diversity among other regions for next year. I would imagine the National League will continue to have byes awarded to the top two finishers of league play into the NC, why not? I don't really understand why the NL bye didnt go to the Hurricanes since Scorpions won their spot into Nationals by winning their Region. I mean, I thought it was a NL bye not a runner up in regionals bye...

I believe this was addressed last year. There were several teams (Texans 92 and 93) with the NL bye and a chance to win regionals. My recollection is that USYS never intended for the NL bye to move down if a team also won regionals (similar to the PL byes and winning State Cup). I also think each region did not want to give up that extra spot at Nationals.

Overland Park, KS was number 7 on Money magazine's Best Places to Live.....McKinney was 5. Does that mean Craig Ranch hosts the Nationals next year?

No...sorry....Nationals website says Murfreesboro, TN for Region III Finals, and the EVER lush and ALWAYS cool Phoenix, AZ for Nationals next year. :-)

Good luck to both Sting & Texans girls as they head north for the Nationals. Very good chance that NTX will be represented as the US Youth National Champion 2010! Just don't forget about the rest of us back at home and keep us updated.
