Oh, okay thanks for clearing that up for us.playtheball wrote:What is it with you all thinking the rest of the nation outside of TXN, Cal South, and the Scorpions are weak? You've been terribly mistaken. There are a handful of teams in every region capable of competing with Sting, Texans, etc. The beating Texans took yesterday was quite the wakeup call. And the only game today that should be high scoring is the Texans Beadling game.

Re: Nationals
You make no sense....your own comments bolster the thinking of TXN, Cal South and Scorpions ruling the pitch at the '95 age group. The "beating" Texans took yesterday was at the hands of the Scorpions.playtheball wrote:What is it with you all thinking the rest of the nation outside of TXN, Cal South, and the Scorpions are weak? ECNL Championship was between Sting (TXN) and Arsenal (Cal South), and I'm sure Nationals will come down to TXN vs TXN or TXN vs. Scorpions. Until proven otherwise (which for last couple of years hasn't been proven), the girls '95 age group absolutely comes down to TXN, Cal South and Scorpions in terms of Champions. There is very good talent and teams elsewhere, but no teams in any other region capable of competing consistently with Sting, Scorpions and the best of So Cal it appears.

Sting seems to be able to score at will. We shall see how they fare against Scorpions tomorrow.

Maybe Texans had no business being here as well? Texans tie "Beadling"
Clearly Sting and Scorpions in a class by themselves.

Nevermind. Guess Sting vs Scorpions 2x

Re: Nationals
Kinda crummy during league as we weren't able to get a win and suffered through 7 losses and 2 ties. We were able to secure our spot back in the A group by taking 3 wins at the ECNL final season matches. Lol, I think we both missed the mark in the outcome of todays games....just goes to show 'ya prognostication and girls soccer don't go together.playtheball wrote:brokedawg wrote:Oh, okay thanks for clearing that up for us.playtheball wrote:What is it with you all thinking the rest of the nation outside of TXN, Cal South, and the Scorpions are weak? Re: Nationals
Tomorrow will be just a practice game. I would suspect neither coach will play too hard. The outcome is meaningless and legs will be saved. The real game will be played Saturday. From my understanding you need to stop one main player on Scorpions and try to stop all the players on Sting.justbecause wrote:justbecause wrote:So what happens if score with Texans holds and Beadling beats JP Marine tomorrow and Sting beats Scorpions? Which route was harder! Another excuse! If I am not mistaken Texans did not win Regionals did they? Did they get out of bracket? In your comparison you sight your victories as So Cal, and Hurricanes in NL but yet Sting beats Hurricanes in Regionals and their route was easier? Texans beat So Cal. Were not the top players for So Cal gone at the time? Has Sting beat So Cal on their turf? Texans Tied Surf! Bet Sting has beat Surf. Who is VSA, Sockers and NSA? You state Texans dropped a meaningless game in NL to Scorpions. Perhaps it meant more than you realized. Sting has beat just about everyone who is anyone and really have nothing to prove but yet they keep doing it much to your dismay. Did Sting not win State Cup to get to Regionals? Did Sting not win Regionals to get to Nationals? Sting won ECNL against some very good teams and the ECNL National Championship against a top Cali team and now they are in the USYS National Championship. I think someone mentioned on here that Beadling had no business in Nationals based on Stings beating of them. How bad did the Texans beat Beadling today? Perhaps Sting is just that good or as you mentioned they had the easier route. I guess if I had my choice I would take the easy route to!
----Uncle Numanga
----Meaningless? Perhaps! But, today GA-6? As Kenshi like to put it "yikes"!
----Well! Sting took care of business today don't you think? You've done plenty of bashing on teams in past my friend, and any chance to stick it to you somehow will be coming. Sting is not only a great team, but it also has the most humble parents as indicated by their near absence on this forum. Learn.
-Maybe Texans can still pull it out.

Just a lot of posturing, 7 or 8 passes then release the ball 7 or 8 passes and send the ball back. LOL! Passing in the circle, my DD said "it was 80min. in her life that was a waste of time" They will be ready on Saturday.

With nothing to gain and everything to lose...I would bet that both teams rested many of their starters in today's Scorpions vs. Sting matchup.

Re: Nationals
I would guess that the only ones happy with this approach to the game would have been the coaches. I can't see the players or the parents or for that matter the college coaches at the game being happy with this "game". Oh well, today is the real deal so good luck to the Sting girls.Cnote wrote:BD,

STING is rolling...no posturing needed- would have liked to seen the ladies that don't normally get the minutes share in the experience. Then on championship day let the rested starting 11 roll! HmmmGood luck.Cnote wrote:BD,
