Dallas International Girls Cup 2018

The Dallas International Girls Cup 2018 is already at almost 75% of the capacity for accepted teams!

This now includes several teams that have recently committed to the tournament including Scandinavian teams: Nacka FC, AIK FF, Enskede IK (Sweden), and Ballerup Skovlund Fodbold (Denmark), as well as Mexican teams including: Instituto Britanico and pro clubs from UNAM PUMAS, Tigres, and CF Monterrey Rayados!

With over 80 teams now accepted, the tournament is filling faster than ever before, and we are looking to expand multiple different age groups.

The Dallas International Girls Cup will take place from March 28 – April 1, 2018.

This has Girls DA teams in it. I thought DA teams couldn’t play in non-DA events?

Well this could be interesting would love to see some of these DA teams play some of the better ECNL teams!

They can. In international. Are you guys still taking teams?

We are still taking teams at this time (as of 10/25/17), but many of our age groups are filling up fast! Teams interested should apply on the Dallas International Girls Cup website as soon as possible.

Are you only taking out of country or out of state?

We are taking both, out of country and out of state teams at this point. Most of the spots for North Texas teams have filled up, faster than ever this year, but we are still taking and reviewing applications.

Is the tournament inlusive to the big clubs that charge big bucks for their special leagues. What are the requirements if you are not DA or ECNL. We are talking about 4 DA and 5 ECNL the rest of the soccer world in NTX would like to know what you are looking for to be accepted.

When will local teams on hold know if they are able to get in?

Medicine Man: The tournament is inclusive to both DA and ECNL teams, as well as Texas Champions League, Lake Highlands Girls Classic League teams and more. Our tournament committee reviews applications and takes the level of the team/league, league record, previous tournament results, and several other factors into consideration when reviewing teams for the tournament.

Jugglemaster: Our committee will reach out to teams on hold within the next month or two. Typically international teams get their applications in during November. After reviewing the international teams, the committee reviews waitlisted teams and how many spots left that we have open to accept them to.
