While the schedules are not published yet, it looks like divisions have been selected for the spring season at Primetime. Two Gold divisions (Gold Red and Gold Blue). Gold Red appears to be the best 8 teams in North Texas. Should result in very competitive games for everyone. Let the carnage begin!

Primetime likely wanted to keep the division to an even 8 teams. They appear to have just used the top 8 teams from the FBR rankings. At #9 FC Dallas Extreme was the odd team out.

Not really...a season is 8 games and since you can't play yourself, 9 teams would make more sense. Each team will have to play 1 of the 8 teams twice. FCD Extreme should be in this group.

I've heard there has been lots of turn over on several of the top 8 teams. Should be an interesting season for sure.

It should be 9 teams and it wouldn’t surprise me if Xtreme asked to be in the gold 2nd division. Xtreme may not win much if they played in the top division and that sideline likes to win. Still a good team but the top division will be really tough.

I don’t think the turnover has been relatively high for the top 8 teams... minor stuff with top players staying put. The boys side is experiencing crazy turnover compared to the girls. Now when JDL starts, the turnover will not be minor then.

There's been a lot of movement up top. Multi million dollar deals, some teams trading two players for one, others with contracts expiring left to other teams. A lot of changes are coming. Gotta have fun with this. Good luck everyone.

Why didnt they just call Gold Red...Platinum? Because there is a big drop off overall in Gold Blue from Gold Red. Maybe so the Gold Blue teams can say they played Gold Division?? IDK Weird

ForReal, I disagree... the ‘09s are a less sarcastic bunch than the other age groups and more polite to each other. The parents are still as crazy as any other age group but the board is relatively tame.

Most of the annoying posts come from posters with kids in other age groups wandering onto the ‘09 board... oh wait! That’s you! Wink

The '09s are a great bunch of kids and there are some really good future soccer stars in this group. Hopefully the parents and continued consolidation of the clubs don't ruin them.

The '09s just might be the flagship group that sees all the soccer governing bodies come together to do what's right for the girls.
