Just a few years ago this lad used to roam the pitches of youth soccer in North Texas. Now he's scoring game winners in Champions League.

Thanks for posting. He is the future captain of the USMNT, and in my opinion, he will be the most valuable player on the team (no offense to Pulisic).

It's so awesome to see the success he's having right now. USMNT would be lucky to have him as captain. I'm not yet ready call him MVP, but Weston is certainly going to be a very important piece to the next World Cup run for USMNT.

I agree. it`s still way too early to say. over 4 years, there is no telling where players at 18 will end up. But one thing that seems sure, is that McKennie will be an important piece to the team in 4 years. Although he may never be as spectacular as Pulisic, he could become more important. although on a team like US which lacks offensive talent, i think Pulisic will be the most important.
However, if the Sargeant, the new center forward on USA becomes very good, that gives 2 reall good players up top with McKennie supporting at times.
