Solar 03 Kennington is looking for a few players. Coach works on individual skills as well as team play. Its a great bunch of girls and parents.
Practice is at Stonebriar Church Lebanon/ Toll way in Frisco on Monday / Wed nights.

Interesting post. Team came apart early in fall and Kenn announced folding this team after fall. Last I knew they were sitting with something like 5 or 6 kids and playing with half or more from kenn's 04 teams. Not sure they are looking for a FEW players. should be looking for a coach instead of players imo.

Actually--- Over It.... We did lose some players... We have a solid 8 so yes a few players is perfect.... Appreciate your comments... Especially your closing statement.... IMO was perfect....

you are so very welcome golden foot. You might want to tell your 04 parents that they are no longer responsible for keeping the 03s on life support for you. several are under the impression that their kids are going to cover the spring season for both 04 teams + the short 03 squad.

I might add that it isn't JUST my opinion - as perfect as it was. seems that more than a few parents of 03 boys, 04 boys and 03 girls had the same thought.

My 04 son played for Kennington and he is a great coach. The skills and game knowledge that he gave our son was by far better than I have seen from most coaches in the area. We have an 00 dd and wish he had been around when she was coming up through academy. Would absolutely let my son to play for him again. Something to remember is that your experience with a coach may not be someone else experience. There are many coaches out there I wouldn't let my kids play for but I don't go around bad mouthing them. Don't care what your issue is with Kennington but I think you should do what your avatar says and get "OVER IT".

Joey is an excellent coach! he's an honorable person in a sea of sharks. If your DD plays for him she'll have been taught by one of the top coaches in North TX.

'an honorable person in a sea of sharks' - now that made me laugh. I was going to stay out of the chatter, but I just could not let that one go. He's a good skills coach and many kids respond well to him for some time. But there is a whole other part of the equation. Honorable is a bridge way too far.

I'll just leave it at that - we've already traveled this road on the forum - much more interesting to follow tournament activities and the ramp up to the Spring season.

Why come on here and trash somebody, if a coach is not right for you then move on, no need to be childish and come on here and do that. If you're going to do that then at least be honorable enough to state your real name and not hide behind a screen name- that's just low. Some coaches are right for some girls and not for others, move on.

The ones doing all the griping are typically the least talented parents who can't take off the rose colored glasses.
