We did'nt have a "Solar Blue" team in D3 last season. Why would they have a spot this season? Im not seeing them in Plano either.

When a team drops out, they move every one up, and simply open up more spots in the QT for D-III. In this case Solar Blue was in D-I, so they would move two teams up from D-II, but only relegate one from D-I to D-II. The same for D-II relegating to D-III, so that after the promotion/relegatioin process, there would only be 6 teams with byes in D-III, thus 4 open spots.

Well looks like TDAFC, OC Wizards and Manchester SC took 3 of the 5 spots for DIII this past weekend.

Over the weekend a team folded so the final two spots will be up for grabs the weekend of 8/4 - 8/5

per email sent out to managers during the QT

"A team in our U17 age group unexpectedly folded. This creates an additional slot in the LHGCL U17 DIII division. The U17 playing format will be amended to allow Round 2's top two teams entrance into the league instead of just the bracket winner."

Wow! Any idea who? How do you fold now? The only thing I can figure is a team turned in a short roster to claim a bye, and couldn't fill it by now.

Its a mess. Odyssey had already gone. Solar had already gone from D1 (although Ive been told paperwork and a prelim roster was submitted, how I dont know but it blows your mind) TDA should never have had to go into the QT but showed their class. FCD East was the Strikers White and they lost their bye. My guess would be WF Express. They struggled for numbers in the spring and it cost them.

Found this and it must have been compiled after the bye fees and prelim rosters were handed in. It shows 5 spots open
and now Solar Blue have gone I dont think they will add another

So with Odyssey and Solar Blue gone, five spots are available.

NTx Strikers 96G White retained their bye and will be in D3. NTx Strikers 96G left for Fc Dallas East and combined with Sting East 96G to become Fc Dallas East 96G. We did not qualify and will be in Plano, just to clarify. We allowed one goal in three games and we are out.

You make it sound so unfair, but you failed to mention that you didn't score any goals at all either! That kind of thing helps a team qualify, scoring goals.

Why is it that every time I post anything on this website, someone turns it into "a fight" or "an argument". Is Jerry Springer the moderator here. I did not intend to sound as though I felt it was "unfair", only that I am disappointed. Really people, is there not enough drama on daytime Tv that it has be in every thread here?
