Not a whole lot going on in the 05 forum... Anyone seen any good movies lately?

Agreed. No action on the 05 forum. The 04 is more interesting. Too bad I don't have an 04 DD.

I heard 2 teams are looking to drop down out of Platinum CFBAL league. I wonder which teams they are.

Oh... The Dark Knight Rises movie was awesome!

I am the moderator of the 04 forum and I'd be curious to hear your definition of "interesting."

Personally, I pretty much love everything about this 05 age group... the top teams consistently play each other and the parents in the 05 age group seem to be very calm (at least on this forum). I suppose this could change... I hope not!

With this being our first swim through Academy, I am still learning the ropes.

Did the teams/Coaches have input into their seeding? If so, is it common that after week 1 teams would be looking to drop down or bump up?

I agree, the 05 forum seems to be much calmer.

The Campaign - very funny, very vulgar (which was expected), and no bloopers during credits. My kids loved it.

I heard the teams got the Flight they requested. Ultimately, I am sure Nicole will do what she can to help those team(s) out if they do exist... not certain if anyone even asked to move, kind of doubt it.

As far as Movies, my daughter forced me to buy Hop, we even got the digital copy so we can watch it on the ipad (lucky me) actually it was a cute movie, have seen it like 5 times now. KSD let me know if you want to borrow it sometime, I will loan it to you...

The Avengers comes out on DVD Sept 25th (just in case you were wondering...)

Heck yeah... I'm sure the DD would love it... speaking of movies... tonight we're doing Friday night family movie night and the kids chose Star Wars Episode 2... the girls have a crush on Anakin before he gets all crazy... me, I have started my annual LOTR watching party. I try to watch one disc (2 per episode) a night. Love, love, love LOTR!

By interesting I meant lively. The 04 folks are more lively bunch, on the forum at least. The 05 parents are definitely lively enough on the side line. LOL.

I like the competition in this age group as well. This should be a good season.

Truthfully, my normal watching party is me (the wife hates LOTR) sipping on some cheap box wine (prefer Franzia... don't knock it till you try it!) and maybe a candy bar. I'm a simple man, FS05. Smile

OK, now that is shocking... "Watch Party" would require more than 1 party goer i believe, but I could be wrong.

Box wine, that is not shocking, I had already heard that rumor about you... drunken
