Re: High School Coaches and Club Soccer
The other part to keep in mind is the amount of time the coach has away from his/her team. They have HS games during the week, maybe even on a scheduled practice night, so now changes to the schedule are made; cannot go out of town to tournaments or maybe doesn't make all in-town tournament games because of HS; could be out of town for League games if HS team advances in state playoffs. This all has the potential for a disruptive season, especially if the team is fighting to stay in a division and not be relegated.goalfc wrote:I know of at least one coach that is coaching a DII team that is a HS Girls soccer coach. Question: wouldn't it be better if this coach coached a boys team in select and not a girls team.? Isn't there a conflict? Yes, he does not have any players on his team that will be at his HS but.....
