Week 9 Pre Game Commentary
Solar Red vs Andromeda - Andro has proven themselves defensively up to this point - now the ultimate test awaits...
DT South vs F ever - DTS is solid - a solid d, with multiple scoring threats. They will come to work Saturday morning and give Fever all they can handle.
FCD Gold vs DT 03 - This will be an interesting enough match up that I might have to position myself to watch some of this game. FCD Gold is on fire (no surprise here) and other than an epic second half melt down against Sting G, DT03 has been a top contender. FCD should prevail, but there should also be some great 1v1 action between one of the top forwards and top keepers in the league.
FCD Premier vs Sting Hilton - Speaking of keepers, Premier and Hilton also boast two of the best in the league- and the difference in this game will most likely come down to that position. There should be plenty of shots on goal from each team as both have quality strikers that can light up the board. This will be a fun shoot out to watch - it could easily go either way.
Sting 03 vs LP Rush - LP Rush is on a streak and has momentum - if there is an upset this week, I am calling it here. And it would be an upset as I feel Sting 03 is the better all around team that should have no problem walking away with this one.
DeFeeters vs LP Barnes - Barnes will come in with some needed confidence after their blow out of the Warriors last week. Feet has been playing everyone tight but just can't seem to get in the w column. I look for a close game with Barnes grinding it out on top.
FCD Red vs Sting West - Match up of the week right here. Evenly matched teams that will most likely shut each other out.
FCD Blue vs Cosmos - Another good match up and potential offensive shoot out. I called this a draw, but give the edge to the more experienced Cosmos and their hard to contain striker.
FWFC vs Warriors - Another tough weekend for the Warriors. FWFCs fast forwards will have no mercy and run away with this one.
11/3 reschedule
Cosmos vs Warriors - See above comment and do a find and replace between "FWFC" and "Cosmos".

Sorry, I should have been more specific. It was meant as a general warning to other parents to stay away from using chickens as a training method. See, she has contracted Avian Bird Flu from our pet chicken named KFC. I have her chase her in the backyard daily to improve speed, agility and coordination. I guess that KFC has been hanging around the wrong crowd.Questionforyou wrote:Why would a parent post this info about his DD?Coach&Ref wrote:My girl is sick and can't play this weekend. Damn birds!!!

Just make sure you keep an eye on your own chicken to make sure she isn't getting in with the wrong crowd.

Your daughter is the greatest player in this league - in the nation for that matter. Let's be real - she is the only reason her team or any other team she has played on in the past has ever won a game! Forget the USWNT - Didn't she turn down a spot at the Manchester United Youth boys program last month? I think that is why Beckham's kid got a call is because her spot opened up...
You were just giving all of us lowly, genetically challenged parents the courtesy heads up that she would not be on the field this weekend - so we all would not crowd the sidelines to watch her play and then be let down because she is not there….
You are just that kind of guy - and it is appreciated!

Re: Week 9 D1 LHGCL Predictions 11/2 & 11/3
Not even close. It was a joke that you fell right into, again. It's funny as hell to see you get your panties in a twist! You base your predictions and team evaluations based on your certain "facts" that you think you know. I was suggesting that you add an "injury report" or a "questionable" status to help improve your accuracy. If you are so good at knowing what you think you know, then you should know which kid is going to be out of town, sick, injured, doing something else, etc. That should get you closer to the top spot every week!herradura wrote:It's Ok Coach - I'll help:Coach&Ref wrote:Sorry, I should have been more specific.
