Dallas Texans White aren't in it. Did an 04 team implode? Brackets are kind of interesting. Seems like they stuck most of the PPL d-1 teams that finished high in the first two brackets. Let the $itching begin.......

Wonder who will get the D-2 spot or if they put both LP teams in D-3. Sad thing is they probably would have gotten in on their own...kind of bs the way the byes work. They actually take away a sense of accomplishment and fun for the kids.

Did Sting Springate make? I was under the assumption they wouldn't have enough for they bye, but don't see them in the QT.

How could Raisbeck get a bye?  They have never even qualified for LH.

Is LP St John still around? Maybe they got that slot?

How did they seed the brackets? I am pretty sure they did not use gotsoccer rankings or the seeding tournament results. A and B are stacked. Central, Harr and Cosmos in one and FCD White, Sparta and FC Premier in the other.

So which LP team got the Redknapp bye? Raisbeck or the new Gerrard/Redknapp/Carragher? Neither Raisbeck or Gerrard are listed on the schedule.

What is the tournament format for this age? Top two from each division advance to the next weekend?

That was the format last year. I guess it is the same since they did not post any format changes. But who knows.

The former Redknapp/Carragher team changed names to Gerrard, and got the Redknapp bye.  Its my understanding that Raisbeck got the LP St John bye.  Without question, the pools are unbalanced, with all the top teams in A and B.  There is an good chance for a team in C and D to advance in the tournament further than they might normally go.  With the exception of NTFC, who didn’t show well in Tut, all the teams are bottom PPL1 or lower and APL.

So will Gerrard actually get to keep the D2 bye?, or will LH regulate them down to D3 since it is basically a mid-level PPL team (I believe only a couple of Redknapp players are actually on the team)

Sounds like they are better off moving raisbeck to d-2 for competitions sake....but that kind of kills the spirit of competition also...lol. I guess the 4 families will have to sit down and figure out what benefits them the most.

If Lady Aztecs folded, why would DT White just get handed the spot? Seems like the logical thing to do would be to just allow an additional spot for the QT to fill. DT had their chance to get a bye and were not able to do so

Good point - and couldn't the same be said of Raisbeck?

If the club retains the bye, nothing stops them from giving the bye to a PPL D3 level team.

Any other D2 teams fold or return less than 50%?
