Will ECNL survive?

BigE set the date for 2017. What will be the next date? 2012 2017 ?

We just happen to be lucky enough to be in a spot that is following the guidelines and I know that Solar is as well.  Seems that this is happening at Dash, in CO and in SoCal as well, so ...

It's time to get off the sinking ship. The Titanic was not invincible. ECNL will be just a shell of itself very soon.

DA was the right decision for us. Been great so far. Ecnl should have no problem simply for the void it fills. Some players want to play high school soccer/other sports.

I don't post often, but when I do....
Our club has the same DA and ECNL coach. They often practice together, scrimmage each other, move players between teams, get water together, etc. Same drills, same coaching. One plays "here", one plays "there". Yes, some of the top end girls went to the DA team, but that doesn't change the dynamic. End results are so much more dependent on what you're DD is doing to further her career than which "elite" team she is on. There are too many factors to figure in to say which fits better. The DA games have a referee air-conditioned tent, that doesn't mean they don't blow calls.... that also doesn't mean you're doing anything more for recognition for your daughter. I think it matters so much more with your daughters commitment to networking and finding the right match. I think DA has made a definite impact, but not to ECNL, more to LHGCL and other leagues.

The pool is fluid. As long as they can manipulate the system it's a big win for the club's. Agreed plenty of cash being spent at all levels in NTX.

Just to be clear on the Energy situation.  It's not "Tulsa Energy" per say.  Energy is now Energy Central (fka Oklahoma FC), Energy East (fka Tulsa Blitz) and Energy West (fka Candian Valley in Yukon/Mustang).  TSC Hurricane was accepted into DA but declined and went ECNL.  So, hopefully DA will come back around and choose Energy and stick it to TSC.

The club w the deepest pocketbook will get the golden ticket to see Willy Wonka. I would bet the farm on that.

If OK Energy does get the invite, it'd probably be to take the place of FC KC ... hopefully Energy would be a bit more competitive.  I'm guessing that USSDA will end up removing 1 and adding 2 to get to 10 total in Frontier Division.

I blame USSF ! Seems they drop the ball on their search. Kansas club had zero past history of competing against competition, were not even admitted as a ECNL team, and has to compete with sporting blue, in what seems to be a very small market. I know the numbers but jeez , don’t you think they at least deserve a chance?

Outside the Oklahoma top teams it's slim pickens till you go to Californ and a few other states. Who really believes all the smoke and mirrors. If those teams want to travel to TX then we can start comparing Apple's to oranges.
