ECNL Playoffs

Hearing different stories concerning how many teams from the Texas League will advance to the playoff series in Redmond Washington next June....Heard 3 and 4 per age group....Read news release yesterday but nothing specifically mentioned. I do see that there will be 44 teams per age group. Any help or feedback would be appreciated.

More opportunities in the new post season structure. This upcoming year will now have four automatic bids from the Texas conference as compared to 3 automatic bids from last year. The post season will have 11 brackets with 42 automatic bids overall and 2 wild cards. Round of 16 will be top 11 finishers and 5 best second place finishers determined by total points, goal differential, goals for and goals against. Only second place finishers will be eligible.

Hmmm ... Dunno for sure Bodhi but doesn't seem like bigballer is really accusing you of "being forced to go or even complaining" does it?
While it'd be expected that you'd immediately misconceive his comment as an indictment of that ^, I'd guess (because it's what we all saw in bright pink neon) that by your "Follow the money. If some is good, more is better", you were riding the tired, old 'ECNL/expansion/blah blah blah is a money grab for the clubs/parents are wasting their $' mantra ... Or not ... Either way ...
