RASE aside, I think a competitive Classic, especially first year, will be really fun to watch in the current landscape.

Some what of a solution, didn't make much of a difference.

SRSA
103 GF and 7 GA..

Next,

47 GF and 15 GA
I'm not saying that they weren't still dominate, but there were 5 games out of the 19 that were decided by 2 goals or less. If memory serves, there was one game where they were down at halftime. This is much more competitive than the games in last years spring tournaments where the hung 7 or more goals on the top competition.

Sometimes the score doesn't really indicate how the game went, sometimes it does. Congrats on the win. From what I understand there are plenty if teams still unsure of who's staying and who's going. But why all the commotion over a team that hasn't really said much.

If RASE plays '04 girls next year, do you think the scores with the top 6 teams will be this close?

It's tough that first year for a team that has separated themselves like SRSA 03 did and what RASE has done. I guess technically they could use the player pass and have a few of the 04 girls play up with the 03 Elite team in DI if that team has any spots. Otherwise they are stuck playing in the 04 age group the first year. I think last year SRSA tried getting an exception for their entire team to play up in the 02's but LH's pretty much laughed at them. In the end I believe they got the ok for those two girls to play up but that was before the player pass rule had come into effect.

I think you will be surprised with how things change over the course of the year. At the beginning of the 03's season last year SRSA was dominant not just by their play but with their scores but as the year went on the games and scores became much closer with them actually trailing (gasp!) in the State Cup championship.

Not at all. That's up to the RASE parents and coach to decide. I know they wanted to play boys this year to have better competition, which they found. Why wouldn't they want to do the same next year?

I'm not suggesting that they follow the path of Solar. That worked for them, not RASE.

Now when RASE beat LFS up pretty bad was it 11-0?
What was the last score vs. Spirit Clark..4-1?

Would the outcome be different now? Better or worse?

That would be interesting if they decided to play in the Boys classic league, not sure there would be a ton of benefit for doing so at that age vs. doing it at the younger ages but like that choice is up to the parents and the coach.

if boys is the way they go then what happens when they jump back to girls? would LP have to use a D1 bye to get them to top division?

that would be mess for the club.

The boys coaches would not put up with that without a fight.

I liked this post better when I misread it as "They are usually the hard workers that do what the big fat girls can't do."

Because there was a bunch of behind the scene calling going on to have current players leave their teams for greener pastures. So there is some interest on how this (they) will play out. Just my take,

I'm going spy on Blue Sky...with players leaving...who's coming? Evil Empire isn't going to take it lying down...

disclaimer: by evil empire I don't mean evil as in villainous more or less like a nickname like the NY Yankees

That's usually what happens when a new team starts. From what I understand your daughter was reached out to and you said no thanks. So I would take the compliment and move on. Don't understand the hostility. Doesn't seem like you are interested in how they progress but hope for failure. Just my take

Behind the scenes calling? My kid is going to be hurt when she finds out that we didn't get a call. Those that did though, please go check out those greener pastures.
