It is going to take a few weeks to get the rankings back to "normal" and all of these kinds of issues will work themselves out.

It is the team that played in Plano Labor Day this past weekend. That team signed up for PLD under the same GotSoccer account as the FCD Premier team that played in CFBSA Spring Bash last Spring.

This team is simply called "FC Dallas '05G Premier" with no color designation.

If you go to the TGPL schedule/standings page, there is an FC Dallas Premier '05* and an FC Dallas Premier '05 Blue* team listed. Neither are linked to the FC Dallas '05G Premier team account in GotSoccer, but I believe this is just some strange way that TGPL is setting up their league in GotSoccer.

So... unless someone comes on here and convinces me that I should do otherwise, I will be assigning the TGPL results from FC Dallas Premier 05* to the FC Dallas '05 Premier Erwin team that is listed at #20 in the 9-2-14 FBR rankings. I will create a new team called FC Dallas Premier '05 Blue Erwin, and will be assigning the TGPL results from FC Dallas Premier '05 Blue* to that team.

Let the kids enjoy the last year of academy, before you start worrying about the rankings. FCD will give all the teams their own color when PPL begins next year.

Solar - 1 Hyppia -0

Yesterday, we emailed all TGPL and PTCL teams requesting that they use their existing GotSoccer accounts to register for the league through GotSoccer.  We can swap the fake accounts we created for their real accounts.

Hopefully, all will do so and clear up some of the confusion.

Admittedly, I did not see the second half, but the half I did see was pretty one-sided in favor of Solar.

I watched the whole thing.  The second half was very similar.

Solar should probably have added another 2 or 3 goals. Uncharacteristic bad finishing. I don't believe Hyppia got a single shot the entire game.

Thats funny. i thought the second half was pretty even. first half yes, it was all solar. LP had several chances in second half they should have cashed in on. poor finishing there as well.

Don't know anything about that game but have a friend that plays for a boys team that Hyypia has played in 05 Boys Platinum and they said the game was a waste, doesn't understand why they would play platinum boys.

Thanks for that wonderful insight Hyypia hater, but nothing was said about a boys game.

Don't see any hating. Just an observation. The results in Platinum Boys speak for themselves. Should have played Gold IMO!

They will be fine, I bet they even get a couple of wins. Good news is they don't have to play the top two boys teams.

I agree.  In fact, they should get their first win this weekend, and I see at least two more wins on the schedule after that.  My guess is they didn't sign up to play Platinum with the goal of winning the division; rather, they were hoping the heightened level of play and lightning pace would better prepare them for success in Platinum Girls.  While they may have been more successful in Gold, at least in terms of wins and losses, I hardly see this as a waste for Hyypia or anyone playing them this season.

Anyone that doesn't think LP belongs in platinum is fooling themselves.

Seems they need to concentrate on playing Platinum level soccer against the girls....1-0 win against Abbott and 1-0 win against Starfone. Nothing to right home about for a team just a short while ago was de facto #1. A few weeks in, looks like they are now looking for goalie...not scoring many goals. Could there be trouble in paradise?

Hyypia does not look real sharp right now. They did not play any games|tournaments thru June, July and some of Aug.  Think they are trying to find their rhythm again
