How can you have Dallas Texans as a group winner and wild card at the same time, maybe meant to say Spirit as the wildcard?

Picking against LP Elite has not worked out very good for me, but eventually I will get it correct.

I'm not so convinced that teams ranked 1-4 in most big soccer states (not just Texas) are that different from each other. Can't speak for a state that historically weak but any bigger soccer state goes 1-5 yeams deep that an beat pretty much anyone on any given day.
I don't think you have to be the #1 team from a state to win in Texas.

it will be an all NTX party in the money rounds. And then texas will come down to San Diego and take that too.

Your hobby is the same just your kid either didn't make the supercopa or has no shot at winning it so you are butt hurt. Really fun trivia fact. The quote was attributed to Genghis khan from a different source but came after his death so we are unsure of its authenticity. The Conan quote derived from there as his character was influenced by Genghis khan. The Conan quote certainly has more flair though. See I have other hobbies

Just curious, what do you base your assessment of Cleveland FC on, have you witnessed them in person? In checking, is this the same team that is currently ranked #67 nationally, but #1 in Ohio North, that recently lost 4-0 to the #1 team in Ohio South? Just doing a little obsessing here.

They are confusing their ice fishing team with soccer. There is no such thing as soccer in Cleveland.....we should sell northern Ohio to Canada anyway, use the proceeds for beer money this weekend.

Oklahoma here. Someone willing to rank the Texas teams in this group and offer up feedback on who plays what style, who is most athletic, most technical? Appreciate it in advance....just trying to figure out what we are getting into here.

LP Elite is best by a goal and maybe toe over every other team in NTX. Athletic, technical and good size. Battle tested.
Texans South is very athletic and tons of speed but not as composed at LP and 2 goals weaker than then every day of the week.
Texans are very good as well, more technical than South but 2-3 goals worse than LP.
Spirit should be able to compete here at about the same level as Texans.
Bottom line is that it's LP Elite's to lose and I don't know if the Texas teams will be the one to do it IF it has a chance of happening. LP is the real deal.

Of all the teams I've seen play here in NTX LP Elite plays the closest thing to possession soccer your going to see here. Most teams play the long ball to 1 or 2 fast forwards. However, if you can put pressure on them every time they touch the ball some of their girls panick and start reverting to the kickball style PO BOY mentions.

Lp Elite and DT South best teams. All of the Texas top 4-5 teams are technical and athletic. The difference between them is that Elite is most disciplined and committed to technical play regardless of opponent. Elite is a scoring machine. DTS can play a similar technically sound game unless well challenged to which they will default to their best in class speed and athleticism.
DTS and Elite have beat all the other top 3-4 teams multiple times over the last 1-2 years.
DTS vs Elite have gone 2 wins and 1 draw favoring Elite with a line of 3-3, 2-1, and 3-1. I hear the last game was played without subs for DTS. This makes since as the athletic edge would falter without any subs allowing Elite's disciplined technical edge to win out.
It's a clean toss up between Texas Spirit, Texans, and Lp Premier with Texas Spirit slightly edging out the other 2 more times than not in tournament play.
Anyhow that's my view on the group.
