How hard is it for you to understand that the soccer elite feel that our children in the US play too many games vs training.

They also struggle to reconcile their desire for a high revenue levels with the desire of the obstinate customers (children/parents) to play games.

The fix was simple:
. schedule the league games
. sign the contracts
. cancel and don't make up a portion of the league games
. schedule tournaments at incremental cost

Perhaps we should ask for LH to take an unsubsidized loan from Jamie Dimon or Brian Moynihan to help offset the costs... oh wait...

Last weekend they had several games in the 02 division that were cancelled due to lightning. Three of them had 15-20 minutes left and two were more than two goal differential (4-0 and 2-0). In their brilliance they decided that these games needed to be replayed from the start. They can't even get make-up games played and these idiots decide to add more to the mix. Their stupid rule states the game should be replayed. I guess they know better than FIFA, who's rule says that if the first half has been complete then it's a complete game. So, I agree with your evaluation of the BOD.

Season is over theres open borders time to plan a tournament trip since every thing is watered down here and drink some real tequila. I need a new sombrero.

This thread must be full of snowflakes.. Does nothing satisfy the NTX soccer community? I guarantee if the league changed the rules to call a game complete due to weather if match advances to 2nd half vs. replay, we would have people pissed off because the wind gave an unfair advantage in the first half or the field slanted 3 degrees more for the other team in the first half.. GTFOH with all the whining... In Cali we don't have this problem cuz it never rains.... But we do have matches rescheduled (yes. to replay the entire match) if surf conditions are just right to hang 10 or.. if officials close the fields due to a health risks because there are too many hypodermic needles littering the fields from last night's herr-on party the democrats hosted for their party base.

You called it Tx, people are getting purty upset about a third level league doing its best to get games in. People should focus more on the mechanics and playing the game correctly. These parents might want to take in a DA game to give them some perspective.

Maybe they can go to one of the club camps and bring a sack lunch and work on their development. What's a little more money to them.

Sorry to say Ern.. not much difference in the quality of soccer between LH/ECNL/DA other than speed and size.. Quality of soccer is about the same. Some teams play really good possession and some play 1 touch / get behind the defense to take advantage of size/speed mismatches.

Seen plenty of HS/LH/FDL/ECNL/DA games this year. The only thing I will agree on is it appears the U15-16 age groups seem to have the biggest perceived disparity which appears to me after watching so many games is due to high concentration of speed/size at the ECNL/DA level (for the girls young women anyway). Otherwise not much difference in the various leagues other than cost. LH is probably the biggest bang for the buck IMO.

Cmon now futbal. You know the difference between good soccer and bad soccer. The only good soccer being played in dfw is DA. I just have to be honest. The good thing is that if your dd works hard she can probably move up to fdl and practice with the DA team occasionally.
