We got to watch some of the Adames and Colvin game and it could’ve gone either way from what I was able to see. It was fast paced and both teams looked good. We left bc the wind was blowing and it made it miserable.

South’s best player sat out the game with an injury. Still a great win for Colvin. Definitely a hard fought game.

definitely a v close game by 2 well-matched teams where a top injured player, on either side, could make a difference in the outcome. looks like there were some other close games as well. spring season heating up!

I also watched, it was an even match. Colvin capitalized on a goal scoring opportunity and then the second goal came from a pk. It was a good game and both teams played well. South is definitely a Dribble to be reckoned with, but I think the Colvin team is too. Just goes to show...any given day for lots of our ‘09 teams.

This. There's so much talent in this group. Just look at the results from week to week. Some teams are more consistent than others, but as you said... any given day!

I think we will learn a lot about where this NTX age group stands nationally in the coming months. Some of our best NTX teams will be going to Ohio, Virginia and maybe California again this year as well. That all will be fun to watch! Not to mention, NTX is looking good in the Pre-DA league so we have a lot to be proud of.

True...I hear Angelone is going to Jefferson Cup and Supercopa and Adames to Supercopa and Surf Cup. I know there are other NTX teams headed to Supercopa, including DKSC-Voutier ....Should be great national competition for all the NTX teams representing.

Well, Lake Highlands Classic league website just answered that question... Saturday 2/14 games on fields 7-10 are canceled.
