Understanding all the reasons for doing ODP that have been cited here ad naseum (low cost, more touches, meet new kids, soccer journey etc etc...)

I still have to ask, did your DD really learn anything? And how is the level of communication been at this age? I can see people dropping off both for upcoming ECNL and the fact the whole program is vague.

Passing, receiving, first touch, one touch, two touch, etc.. Stuff I'm sure every team works on. Then they split into VERY short sided games (3v3 with 2 goals, then 6v6 with four).

Big difference was the level of competition as compared to club team level. Everyone has a lot of skill. Perfect touches were required in that environment. Lots of corrections by all he coaches hat were out there as there was a high coach to player ratio. Plus, it was the first practice my DD walked away from really enjoying it.

For some it's not an upgrade in training or soccer education. /just sayin

I did notice that few of the 'top team girls' were missing. However, I still saw strong group of girls who were skilled and knew how to play.

How did the girls do on STX event? My DD did not get to go, but was wondering if we had strong showing down there. I heard 02/03 girls did good, but not much feedback on the 01 group. Did the roaster pretty much stayed same as last year's sub regional event?

So who are the Top Teams LP have at this point. I know Pulp took two teams to Solor, but after that what do they have?

Nice. Let me clarify, and maybe this only applies to you - if you're impressed with ODP training compared to your club's, then so be it. I'm not knocking it - every kid is different...I was asking for other's input. But yea, I can't really argue your assessment above.

You continued to beat the dead horse of LP being irrelevant at the select levels...which had been stated over and over (and over again)and not even LP people disagreed...... but you kept on beating like you had an agenda...or pent up anger with LP.
