Week 18 D1 LHGCL Predictions 4/12

So, Guitterez wasn't coaching, and the new coach used an "illegal" player? How did that happen, and where was the normal coach? Granted, I highly doubt wrongsided will provide any clarification.

No illegal player was used. It amazes me how crazy rumors get fabricated. Lol

And there is no new coach..... Where did that come from? Bwahaha.... Yall are too much!!!

Hummmm..... Let's switch the topic. Which team mgr or previous team mgr has crossed the line with their coach? ..... Yeah..... That's more controversial and probably more substantial. Lol

From all accounts it sounds like a very interesting weekend. I've now heard stories that it was simply a clerical error on the roster and that the player was legal and no big deal or it was a much bigger deal and designed to screw over quite a few people. I'm leaning towards it was more a clerical issue but who knows and quite honestly if you don't play for Sting G or SRSA who really cares.

Looks like there were some pretty interesting results this weekend, SRSA only winning by one against Sting G, LP Elite beating FCD Gold 3-0 which I must admit caught me off guard.

Then you had LP Rush and Fever both winning setting up a great last game of the year, all Fever needs is a tie and they advance and LP Rush has to win or they are out. FCD Red needed a win to stay in the hunt and ended up losing to a LP Keegan team that apparently only had 10 girls show up to play. I'm assuming Sting Hilton won over FCD Blue so that sets up a final weekend situation where FCD Blue needs to pull of an upset of Sting G and then hope that FCD Gold rebounds and takes care of Sting West.

Should be interesting in two weeks.

If the clerical error was made by the team = it is a big deal.

If clerical error was made by LHGCL= not a big deal

Guess that's what they have hearings for

From my account, it was the goal posts and cross bar that made more of a difference than the illegal player in question. Regardless, rules are not fouls that can be dictated by advantage.

The "Diaz crew" seems to be fitting in nicely at Sting where rule breaking and hearings seem to be an annual springtime event

Not surprising the guy who can't keep it together off the field, can't get it together on the field either. How did Sting find this guy? Oh yeah, he was forced out from his last position becasue he couldn't behave.

So - did the goalie in question play or not play for a team from Diaz's old employer?

8 a.m games are terrible anyways. Most kids are up by 5am anyways for the long drive to the games and it's not a good indication for any 11yr girls or boys getting started that early no matter how early they get to bed.. lol as if any 11yr kid is going straight to bed at 8pm on a friday.

Soooo, did Sting player pass a keeper to play against SRSA? I was referencing Sting G earlier to them losing their dedicated keeper after the Fall season and it affecting them against tougher teams.

I don't know who the keeper was, I was just stating if that was the illegal player like you insinuated, she was not a factor in the game.

Nothing against her -  there is not an 11yr old keeper out there that could have made any more difference...

There was no player pass used. Simple clerical error and will be resolved. Nothing malicious was done on stings part.... Bottom line..... The girls all did great and the score was 2 - 1

Prize winning quote from a butthurt '04 parent that could not handle his DD's status on the team when JD was there. Why not just do yourself and your DD a favor and go to a different club so you can insult the coaches there too? Heard Coach & Ref was for hire. You two would make a good tandem and leave a wrath of destruction everywhere you go. Even better, you can play up with the '03 Premier team and help them along with their pending implosion?

The player doesn't even know JD..... Shows how much you know jack hole. She's been on our team.... There was no player passes and no new Diaz recruits..... Sting played a great game and unlike MOST. Other teams lost by 1 point..... They did great.

So maybe the illegal part is coming from the fcd coach saying he didn't sign a release. ?????? Waiting for hearing but we probably won't see anything major happen from it. This stuff happens all the time unfortunately.

Which quote would that be? That he couldn't behave off the field at a tournament (multiple times) so he had to be forced out? But apparently his background didn't stop Sting from hiring him. Not BS, chatter, OR speculation. Fine role model for your girls - you can have him!

Move along onlythetruth. You should be having a RASE discussion on the '04 forum about how butthurt you are with JD. You're trying to hard and just look like an idiot on the forum. All you want to do is jump to EVERY chance you can to bash a coach that is no longer at your club. We get it. YAWN, we get it. I would probably have off the field problems if I had to deal with parents like you from the '04 & '03 team at FCD.

Awwww. Mr. Solar, since we go so far back I will tell you - but shhhhhhhhhh.. keep it a secret. La Zaranda, Beltline and the Tollway - waaay better than Blue Mesa

So, what I got out of this is (a) there was no illegal (b) it was a clerical error (c) Sting G added a player to the roster for this game (typical) (d) the best 'rita in town is at La Zaranda and (e) Blue Mesa is garbage.
