I like:
Solar over FCD-Premier
Red over Black
South over DT
Sparta over Sting (upset special)

Then:
Solar over Sparta
Red over South

And:
Solar vs. Red? Wow.....battle of the Titans. Who will be at fuller strength. May have to check that one out even though I don't have a horse in that race. (Assuming, of course, I have a clue from a prognostication perspective).

Are the two superstars playing with SR for state cup? I see they are rostered on gotsoccer with them. If so, my money's on them, otherwise coin flip.

It was mentioned in another thread that Solar has an out of town ECNL league game this Saturday morning. With several of the Solar and SRSA DD's on that ECNL team, especially the superstars from both, I can see the potential for some surprises. The key word is POTENTIAL but at best I think the games will probably be closer than what they would be if they were here. Also, FCD and the Texans have in town ECNL league games Saturday morning which could play a role in the quarterfinal results as well.

Does anyone know if Sting Gutierrez will have any of their girls missing due to ECNL game?

Sting G should have all that are healthy. G over Sparta, but it will be speed vs speed

Red over Black
South over DT
Sting over Sparta

Premier over Sting
South over Red if the 2 superstars don't play. Pk's maybe.

And:
Then who knows.....

Solar Red will win the whole thing with or without the two superstars. That team by far the best team in Texas.

Supercopa was won by Cinci one heck of a team.

I think 03 solar red plays pretty soccer the way it should be played. Either way Solar club has it in the bag and should be a fun finals between the two teams. Good luck to everyone this weekend!!

Chelsea winning 1-0 by PK.
Red beat Black 6-0.
In last 3 head to heads, Red has won 2 and tied 1 with Chelsea.
If Chelsea gets past Sparta and Red is able to get past a very good Texans than the matchup will be for all to see.
The two "superstars" have played partially in only 1 of the 3 games and scored 1 of the 17 goals scored.
They would certainly make a difference if part of the lineup, but Red has succeeded on their own all season without any additions.

Great job Sparta. State cup semi-final, losing to a strong Solar Gold team. Great run for an independent.

Thanks Burn...... I heard FWFC parents saying the 2 played vs them... That's a NEGATIVE!!!! Also, Solar Chelsea were down 3 very important starters this morning and 2 this evening. So, tomorrow should be a good game but one team will definitely be without at least one key piece.

You sir are at best misinformed and at worst lacking in integrity.
FW parents would not know the stars if they camped on their front porch.
Since the two stars left what is now the Red team nearly two years ago, the likelihood that any on the FWFC team would recognize them is dubious. What they saw were the numerous scoring threats that Red has on its own roster, so please resheath your "negative"
Either your contacts within FWFC gave you bad info or you're being intentionally provocative.  Fact is the two "stars" were in Austin playing an ECNL game this morning.  Simplest of research will bear that out.
They did arrive back, together with the star striker for Chelsea, and were all able to play in the two semi finals games.
No doubt Chelsea was down their stopper and starting striker in the morning game, but that's it, not 3 critical components.  And that same starting striker for Chelsea will no doubt be present tomorrow.  But FCD was also down their starting striker. Maybe that's why the match was as evenly fought as it was.  Sadly one member of Chelsea who is a key defender was hurt and so likely won't play tomorrow.  But Chelsea is a deep team and their star striker will be present.  She is good enough to start on a top ECNL team, while playing up so will be an absolute threat to all teams she plays against.  All who follow the Chelsea team know that even with injuries they are never out of the game so fully anticipate a hard fought close game tomorrow.

Burn... I think you read wrong.... I know the 2 didn't play.... But a FWFC parent had the audacity to say that they did.... He was trying to soften the wound by mentioning it to women who don't follow. LOL!!! He knows who he is.... He better be glad I missed him saying it because I would have put him in his place. Anyways.... Time to see what's next.....

Im sure the two 03's from the Ecnl Solar team will be there tomorrow to guest for Red...Daddy cant have her missing out on Regional experience since it looks like there SoCal team didn't make it...gotta jump on the 03' Solar Red team's back now for the free ride.
