Hey all you '03 pollsters. We have all been silent for a while. Lets get some chatter going!!

How is your team doing this Spring? Playing SDL, PSA, Etc..
What tourney is your team playing this Spring? PrimeTime? Playing up?
Where did this Dallas Juventes (Black) team come from and are they the real deal?
Any upcoming matchups to watch?

Heard that juve black has the next Marta, big, fast and strong. If I was JH, I would keep her away from the scholarship giving missimo.

WOW Cottages. You are on to a great start. Funny how you refer to Kat as "second fiddle", but it's her name listed as head coach. Additionally she is at all our practice with Derek. No need to argue this. Both coaches know their place and the parents respect both coaches.

Now, lets discuss this awesome player you call the next Marta.... I'm assuming you would be a good judge of talent for this team? You wouldn't happen to be a team Mom or manager for this team would you?

Ive been saying Juventus Black is the team to watch out for in the coming seasons. I can definatly see it being SRSA 03 and Juventus Black 03 battling for the top spot. Juventus has more raw talent than most of the other top 03 teams its just a matter of developing it. I'm also glad to see Marta's name dropped more often latley over Mia Hamm's because the truth is Marta would run circles around Mia!

Love the Marta reference but she wouldn't be classified as big or strong. May actually want to change that to Abby Wambach instead. Marta is tiny, fast and skillfull

Yes, they have a dominant player, but Juventus were making noise last fall in SDL; prior to the dominant played being added to the squad over the winter. They are a well coached team with more than a few talented girls.

i watched the player in question at a tournament. She's good but I didn't see her pulling Zicos, Rai flicks or Leonardos.

not familiar with the girls teams but Juve sounds like an indie team. I am a big fan of the indies doing well, I think they serve an imprtant purpose in NTX soccer.

How about you get the information straight from the coach. Shoot me a PM and I will give you Kat's contact info. I personally hope Kat stays right where she is. My DD enjoys working with her and Derek.

Juventus was making noise last Fall in D3. However making much more noise now in D1. Who was the 1 loss to? Or was it a tie?

How is Adro doing? Any idea when/if they are going to make the jump and play up?

Juve Blk '03 team, also plays up U9 on Saturdays and they are currently UNDEFEATED. I think they will play in the Carey invitational tourney May 6-8. Looking forward to some good competition. Juve Blk '03G are getting faster and stronger!(psst...also playing 3v3..on friday night..sharpening up foot skils...I think I heard a little birdie told someone that!)

Congrats on being undefeated in D2 U9. I was not aware of that. Hopefully all the top '03 teams will play in the same tourneys this Spring. Will be some exciting stuff to see this year.

Juve Black: (Sunday SDL) Andro rematch on 03/27 & Solar Red 03G Webb on 04/03. Should know a little more about the quality of this team after that...

Genesis. The Genesis'03G team & Coach merged with Juventus last winter. Juventus '03G currently has three teams. Gold, Black, and an Elite. And they brought over some '04G players. So now Juventus has two pretty strong '04G teams.
