Odds are that one of the teams playing at Wildcat-Ram Stadium tonight will win the State 4A title. Games are

6:00 Highland Park vs Rockwall
7:30 Mesquite Poteet vs Frisco Wakeland

Any reason why one of these teams will not win the 4A state title? The state champ has come out of this region for at least the past 3 years.

I am going with Denton Ryan. Very strong team with a group of 94's that play on the same select team together. I think there are 5 or 6 of them.

Played them twice this year. Lost both times.

Leaving now to go watch both of these games. Wakeland will beat Poteet easily.

The Highland Park-Rockwall game is harder to call, although I am with the majority and hope Highland Park loses. Highland Park has to win in regulation. If the game goes to OT and especially if it goes to a shootout, Rockwall will probably win.

Your really funny TWH!!!!! And maybe I have been taking it!

I was just responding to the question if anyone could see a reason why one of those 4 teams wouldnt win state. I had a very good reason. Denton Ryan beat Granbury last night 6-0. They should go on to win Region I.

I watched Wichita Falls High hammer Canyon 4-1, then followed by Denton Ryan dominating Abilene Wylie 5-0.

Tomorrow should be a tough one, but Ryan appears to be 1-2 goals better than Wichita Falls High.
