So with the new Sting ( ASG ), Sting Blue, Sting Royal, and Sting West, a full 1/2 of D1 will be Sting next year. Will some of the games now be scrimmages at the Sting complex ?

I am sorry to whomever this offends, but the swiftness of this backhand made me laugh out loud. Now Yuk....

Have to admit I got the sarcasm and laughed as well.
But ASG did legitimately earn a bye into D1 next year even without the ECNL stuff.

There are no apologies as everything is always settled on the field. You know that better than anyone. Good luck this weekend.

1) The Golden Girls have gawd awful uniforms. (Hoping they got a free bowl of soup....)
2) When God's Team does not get their way on the field, they turn very mean and cheap. (Move over Revolution.)
Walmart is in desperate need of anger management therapy. Perhaps the parenents could step up....

Re: Spring Movement
Funny. It would have even been clever if they were a Plano team, but since they are not, it is just kind of a mean cheap shot, albeit funny.stillyuk wrote:The reverberations of which are felt throughout Plano and Arlington.
Getting a team from ASG to D1 is not an easy thing to do these days, and I would venture to say it is quite a coaching accomplishment, not to say it compares with your acommplishments in life.
That being said Trini is a good guy just trying to provide a living for his family. He is really good around young people and has a positive outlook on life. His son, Diego, was recently diagnosed with a rare form of MD. As all of us would, Trini and his family have decided to fight this disease head on.
The following is a link to a video about Diego and his fight with MD that was used to promote a MDA Walk last month. I found it gave me some perspective on life and how fortunate most of us are to have healthy, athletic kids that can play soccer.

I wish Trini well and am sure he will be successful at Sting.

#1 - one thing has nothing to do with the other.
#2 - none of us would wish anything on ANYONE's person, MUCHLESS children.
#3 - I think its SHITE of you to bring THIS into this forum. Does it matter in life? So much that its more relevant than any of this. But to bring it into THIS as a forcefield is a stupid foul on your part.
#4 - to do it as a "first time poster" means you have no nuts and you are on the team. Have some balls. If you want to defend your stance and his, then do it.....and dont hide.
From what I hear (and if you know me and my girlie, then you know my girlie plays school ball with a girl on that team and there is a deeper tie to the situation) there is a right way to look at other clubs for your team and a wrong way. Quietly is the right way, and loudly is the wrong way. Loudly gets you canned. good thing he had another gig lined up. I truly wish him well, but this ticked me off.
Maintain relevance with your posts please...and lets all wish his son well....IN ANOTHER THREAD!

Your post speaks for itself. Not hiding anywhere, they just don't let you use your Boys userid on the girls sight. Haven't been on the girls sight in years, I see not much has changed.BigBoy wrote:eagle2 wrote:Funny. Re: Spring Movement
to fill in the top bracket? Does anyone drop from D1? Do Solar Blue
and TRN stay in D2, or do they drop and the 2 tops D3 teams move up?
Also any truth to the rumor that ASG(Sting Blue) lost a couple of key
defenders, post league games?
Any clarity on what the new D1, D2 and D3 brackets for LH will look
like will really be appreciated?

New Line Up?
No one moves down. There is no cunning plan for FC Dallas fka N. Tx United to keep their D1 Bye and move to Elite.
D1:
Told LZ will be given another team and an FC team to be named will take the Revolution bye since this team has blown up.
Teams moving up to D1 are:
1. Sting Royal
2. Sting fka ASG Gold West
3. Solar Royal
4. Solar Red
5. Sting West
DII will be:
1. Strikers
2. FC Red
3. Texans Red North
4. Solar Blue
5. FC Blue
6. Polaris
7. Solar White
8. TFC Blue
9. Sting West Royal.
D111 will be:
1. Texans White
2. Sting West Blue
3. Liverpool aka Liversting (blew up almost immediately after move?)
4. Ft. W. FC
Rest of the D3 spots to be determined

Re: Spring Movement
Basically what Maggie says.
5 ECNL teams gone.
Noone gets demoted.
Top 5 D2 go to D1.
Top 5 D3 go to D2.
QT to fill D3.
Any other speculation ?

I beg to differ; The team is doing well and will be fine for next year and beyond. We anticipate, with the new additions, and the majority of the team returning, that the team should have a good year. All is well.
