LHGCL Schedule field question

The whole schedule is out and we have a game at Rail Road Complex. Anyone with a clue what Rail Road Complex is? There isn't a link to it on the LHGCL webpage and it's not one I've ever heard of.

It doesn't open until this September. I had heard that once it is all open that all LHCL games will be played there. Like I said "had heard". I don't know this for sure.

Thanks. Will have to do a good search to figure out where in the world that is. Thought Moss wasn't being used this year but we have a game there so I guess that wasn't accurate information.

Rail Road is not available until October, but Moss use should be very limited going forward. Once RR is open, very easy way to get in from 121 Business and Valley Ridge. Road is being built as we speak.

Girls Classic League will be the first to have games at this new facility, followed by GLASA's pre-Thanksgiving tournament.

There are 7 full-sized soccer fields, and one 9v9 soccer field, a football section, a baseball section, dog park, and skate park.

There is lots of free parking and 3 concession stands

Sounds perfect and it's close to me.

I posted this is another forum, and I figured it was also relevant here...

Here's a Satellite/Map of the site prior to construction. It would seem both Railroad St (North to 121 Business/South to Hebron) and Bennett (Four Lane to I-35 Access Road) will be arteries for the entrance that's marked on the map. Bennett (it's the "Road Closed" picture above) to I-35 has about 100 yards that isn't completed (were crews workingo on it when I went by). Railroad St. South to Hebron has already had some construction, but North to Hwy 121B is awful. I would guess they are using that part of the road as a construction entrance and will finish towards the end of construction.


This .pdf of the completed project shows that there will also be an addtional entrance/parking off of Valley Ridge when that road is completed.

I was looking at the bird's eye aerials on Bing to see if they were showing any recent construction... nope, not yet, so this rendering answers all my questions..

Hmmm might have to take a drive by tomorrow. Hope it's finished by the time games are scheduled for. Looks like it is going to be a great complex
