Current Rankings include game results from 2/21/14 through Present Date.  Games from the weekends of 2/8-2/9/14 and 2/15-2/16/14 were dropped from the history since the last rankings were posted.

Notes:

1)  As stated above, games from the weekends of 2/8-2/9/14 and 2/15-2/16/14 were dropped from the history since the last rankings were posted.  If you don't think a team's movement from the previous ranking looks appropriate due to their results from this past week, it is likely due to a difference between the new games added vs the old games dropped from the history.

Why did RASE come in at #2?

Not enough games against strong enough opponents in this past weekend's tournament to match what TXS has in their current history.

Why is it if you beat 2 teams ranked higher than you that you dropped 2 points? I get the older games dropping off but do you not look at the competition?

Answer- keep winning against top teams and you WILL go up!! It's an algorithm, if 3 to 5 games drop off your history and you add 2 your weighted number goes down

Un-computationally (is that a word? It is now!!)...DTS is the most worthy title contender. Not predicting any outcome but just from what I've seen they would give RASE a pretty good game. Although TX Spirit has a stud that could possibly shake up RASE's backline....that child gets busy!!

yes "The Spirit" is a great player. RASE does a good job in the mid of starving great players of the ball and gang tackling. DTS? eh...Everytime I am ready to buy in they pull off a tie or loss. That plus all of the rumored problems down south, I am not buying in this time.

Word on the street is the same might be happening at RASE . . . I guess all the dust will settle in a month. Smile

Congrats RASE on the tourney win. Until an 04 team can beat y'all, you are king of the hill. It would be a fun tourney if RASE, DTS, and TXS all played each other. It would answer a lot of questions after this weekend.

the core at RASE is solid so as long as we don't let anything new come in and shake things up we will be fine. Thats always the key this time of year. Protect what you have and be careful not to take on someone elses problem. and ruin what you already have.

No problems down south...especially in the 04 realm.
Slight movement and a bit of signing anxiety but GA has a system that's built to withstand a few waves. The ties...eh...just a few hiccups but we tend to step up for the big ones. Just making a few baskets to put our eggs in now.

Maybe so about the midfield but...I saw LFS get through that and "almost" tied it up... 1 was missed by literally inches and the other was a crazy save by keeper... Goodness... And "The Spirit" is much more active and elusive than that LFS forward... Sorry but I saw a kink in the armour...just an observation... Not a slight.

Ties came from teams playing the game not to win...just not to lose...you know the feeling. Opposing team celebrating like it was championship victory.

Saw the game Sunday and I look past scores which majority won't do. RASE is still best team out there. I have seen DTS, TX Spirit Clark, and now LFS Black. While RASE didn't manage to put high scores up this weekend, they disrupted anything what other teams were trying to do. Like someone mentioned, they looked like they had a game plan and they stuck with it.

Not disrespecting any teams, but DTS and TX Spirit games will yield same results for RASE not because they are a better team it's because they manage to take away things you believe work best for your team.

Don't mistake my comments for doubtfulness.... RASE is still the team to beat...the feat just seems a bit more attainable these days.

Some thrive off confidence, tenacity, and heart...LFS looked as though they didn't activate those traits until 2nd half...1st half they played kind of slow and posed no threat and that first goal was deflating but after the 2nd score and half they had a renewed sense of confidence....just too late.

You saw holes in the armor or you saw kick it pass an aggressive defense which played majority of the games I saw played at mid line?? Sooner or later, will find a ball over their heads and a mad sprint to go after it. If this is your defenition of getting an opt to score against RASE maybe there is a 20% chance..

I saw defender get beat with speed...simple as that. If u don't pressure that back line they are going to pass like Harlem globetrotters...very beautiful... But apply pressure and things happen.
