who is the best ECNL 01 team?

I think it's pretty obvious that the best ECNL team will be the one with the most points at the end if the season.

Can anyone post the link to the ECNL website. Specifically where the schedule and standing would be. I'd like to keep up with the teams, and when do schedules come out if they're not out already?

we should be able to see a lot with this weekend being the first tournament of the season. it should be a real good tell tell. Let's see how good they really are.

I see that the OFC forward is on Sting's ECNL roster. We heard up here that their really good mid was looking to play ECNL also with Sting or Solar, if Sting didn't work out. Anyone know if she is?
I will know in couple of weeks at Beat The Heat tournament if they are still with OFC.

Not the answer to the original question, but the best of the current ECNL+1 is Kicks.

Kicks will be a non contender in 2 years. ECNL will suck the best kids in.

We'll wouldn't they be getting somewhat the same amount of exposure and competition from National League as if they were to play ECNL? Kicks is doing exceptionally well and I can see them staying in National League for quite some time.

2 yrs? That is a mighty long time. In two yrs your DD and several DDs could give up the sport. Right now we are just focus on today and enjoying the ride.

As for best 01 ecnl team....nobody knows until they play the games. All teams improved on paper but they still have to gel on the field.

I disagree....colleges are looking for the best players.  The exposure at Regionals and Nationals was out there. Surf cup is also great. We had a scout for US National team out at surf cup on Saturday and Sunday watching most if not all U14 games. I spoke with her and she basically said keep doing big time tournaments like Surf Cup, play National league and make Regionals and Nationals and they will find the talent. The key is not what league you play in but how you develop. Do the players continue to work harder each season to be better players.

Yes I do know how it works. Wins should be a result of development but on any game you can get beat.

I don't think Kick's will be that lucky a 2nd time. I think there is a lot over all better teams out there then them. Yes I will give them that they did win regionals but at the same time when they played at the next level I don't even think they scored. other then a few very select kids and a great offside trap they don't have the best well rounded team. like a Solar & Sting and the news on the street someone said TSC is supposed to have a good team this year? Not sure if they are the power house that this guy says they are but kicks I think got lucky...

    please go back and read my post. When did I say we were the only team developing and getting better? I never even said we were getting better. All I said was it is up to the players now to continue working hard.  I never expected this type of response from a Solar parent as Solar has always been class acts.  Oh and my lively hood doesn't depend on coaching..If it did I would have been with a big club bc they pay way more. .I was making way more when soccer didn't take all my time. The benefit is I enjoy what I do and I don't have a boss.
