LHGCL predictions for Spring...relegation/promotion...D1/D2

A lot of effort by Grado peeps to argue that they're better than 4 teams.

I don't know that anyone's trying to argue that...no doubt they are better. As are sting d, Texans/mustangs and probably fcd wtx.

Last I checked, only 1 Grado parent on here - and I didn't see him arguing they were better than anyone.  He explained a little history and how the team has stayed together.

My whole point is that the Grado team is a team that has consistently gotten better over the past few years and for some reason it is taken the wrong way by many other folks on here when someone says something positive about them. I was actually accused of being a defender's parent...LOL - I'm not. I just like the way Grado takes a development approach as apposed to a win at all cost approach. State Cup will tell a lot more about them as a team.

Regarding Sting D being the best in D2...well that's up for debate, I guess, but the numbers don't lie. They, too, have a great team that doesn't stack their bench. I think they have one player that also plays ECNL. 71 GF & 3 GA - Grado vs 49 GF & 14 GA - Dunstan doesn't really signal that they're the best team in D2. Yes, Sting D beat Grado...in PK's! Hardly a strong measure.

For you not to be a Grado parent, you sure have stats on them, pub them and defend them all at the same time. Why won't you pub your own dd's team? AHHH HAAA!! You are already. Grado is having one great season only (2016-2017).. Lets talk about last year.. Is it because they are benefiting from age pure shift? If that wasn't the case, you won't be seeing results like you see below (2015-2016) season. Just stating facts..

And the numbers rarely tell the whole story - if you're 8th grade pure, have a big foot in the back and a couple fast girls in the front it's pretty easy to put up those kind of numbers on the other unimposing 7th grade stacked teams in D2. If you look at games vs. the top 5 in D2 it definitely paints a different picture. There's also running up the score and maybe others moved players around to different positions and took the foot off the gas - too many intangibles to say "the numbers don't lie". I've watch four of the five top teams in D2 and the margin is very thin save one maybe.
