All I see is a win win situation for both sides. Everybody happy except the customer. Theres 100 other parents who will pay for that patch. Next.please.

Kind of the way Pay to Play works.

Clubs and Coaches make out like bandits.

Uninformed or naïve parents feed the monster.

Kids try and make the best of it.

Sounds to me like someone’s afraid that their little Bodhi is about to lose their DA roster spot to someone’s little Warchild.

Not really.

Both of ours played at the highest club levels, but were lucky enough to have a choice and chose to take the academic $ for college vs athletic $.

Didn't have to go the Warchild route in life.

That's very American of you. That sounds better than uninformed, right?

Over the top and direct play IS situational. Professional managers change lineups and tactical formations depending upon opponents and game situations.

I am not arguing that DT South has not been good but I will argue forever that a 10 year old, 12 year old, 16 year old defender should never just kick the ball. They need to be taught, coached, encouraged to see the field look for a pass and play soccer. That is the distinction for me.
