I see the desperation on the DA side. What happens if and when Texans leave DA and choose to go ECNL. ECNL is expanding and Celtic are a solid team, maybe not to the level of Dallas bigs but you play the game to get better. Thats called aspirations. Big Balls must have got his nuts squashed. Still waiting for the big announcement from DA.

I could care less if OFC gets DA..... but it sure is funny a Tulsa guy trying to talk up ECNL and say NYSA is a good club.... now that’s funny. All the ECNL folks sure are grasping at straws and their feelers are getting hurt..... but what if DT gives up DA, and what if we just let every club in because they have aspirations... in the past is was about being a top club, now it’s just about aspirations? Makes sense

Yeah i guess every club you belonged to was the top club, its idiots like you that ruin the game. Funny is what you see staring back at you in the morning everyday. But then again who cares what a guy with elephantitus of the nuts has to say.

Love that you are so upset.... no reason to hit your wife because of a little message board talk.... are you a TSC guy? I’m guessing you are, but you shouldn’t get so offended over the truth about another club. The reality of the situation is that it’s a huge reach for NYSA to get an ECNL bid, and you know that. That club won’t provide competition for other teams in ECNL. Im not against ECNL or any other league.

So all those in the know. We all know who is on the bubble to be out in both leagues local. Who is on the bubble looking in. Big E hasn’t been on here so no one on here is in the know yet.

Liverpool would be an expansion that would make more sense.

Liverpool are in. Not upset but i hate prejudging a Club based on your own personal view of them. Oklahoma does not have the same population as Big D but i think you will be surprised by Celtic.

Wow, that will put a lot of pressure and competition for players here in Dallas. I dought sting and D’feeter Are happy about that. NTX soccer flooding the market with clubs. Not good.

They have to play somewhere and hopefully now Liverpool will stop bleeding out their best players to the other Bigs. Should make the next couple of years interesting.

You should be happy with ECNL flooding the dallas market spreading out the talent.

I’m really not trying to fight with anyone.... it’s very interesting to hear and see all the changes that we are witnessing. I just hope everyones DD has a chance to play on a team and in a league she deserves to and has the ability to play in.

With all the clubs and teams we have now in NTX. It won’t be an issue finding a ECNL team to play for.

We want to play the best, win, lose or draw. Its the only way to see where you are. Played SLSG today, won 2-0 , lost to them 3-0 in the Fall so we are seeing progress. We should all want better soccer competition. I think dilution of Dallas is overstated you have a boatload of talent.

That’s debatable, and to fill these ECNL rosters you will need over 80 players in each age division. That is after GDA taking 50 or more itself.

A quality team is more than its individual parts. 11 players playing togethor. You still have enough talent in Dallas-Fort Worth to go around.

Look at it this way the US Mens national team has won 6 games in the 86 years they have participated in the World Cup. USSF isn’t even trying to raise the game other than doing fund raisers to pay their salaries. You don’t have far to look at who is to blame and now they have the Womens DA too and they will screw that up as well.

When people bring up Pulisic participating in DA you have to remeber he had to go overseas to become the player he is today.

Celtic is ranked higher than all 3 Energy clubs in 3 of 5 age groups - 01, 02, 04. Not bad considering they are 1/5th of Energy's size. I think most outsiders consider them much more technical than Energy. If you question Celtic getting ECNL wouldn't you also have to question how Energy got DA?

State Cup is just a tournament Okie, not the criteria for DA. Not all teams play in the USYS State Cup and some teams like 05 TSC played in the 04 division last year. It's not a perfect representation of the quality of a club.

Has this actually been announced? I haven't seen arelease from ECNL. If accurate, then it's a bad sign for ECNL. Are they better than Sting Austin? Yes. But I think they will be in the bottom of close to bottom of every age group. Very little depth. Perhaps they pick up some Energy players, but that's really a poor bet.
