Dallas Texans 10G Samba as the 3rd rank national team? That's gotta to be a mistake. They are not as good as the Solar 10G Colvin team. Our Team played Super Copa in Texas and we got the chance to see Texans and Solar. Solar won 2-0 in the finals against Texans. Also they have beaten them 4/5 games previous. They are the much stronger team and most likely deserve that 3rd spot. Definitely agree with SDSC for #2 though. Solar Colvin should be 3rd and Texans 6th. They are the best 2010 team in Texas. Maybe the reason they got ranked higher is because they came out here for Surf tournament. Does anyone know when the rest of the teams in CAS will be ranked?

Bro, relax. The YSR rankings for the U10 group are just getting started. It only starts considering results from the time the U10 age group kicks in, which I assume was likely July 1. The data set for the newest age group will start to really take shape once the teams start getting more games under their belts as U10. The national rankings start taking better shape as top teams from different regions start playing each other, too. The more the teams play each other, the better the data gets.

Roger that. I think the YSR rankings can be pretty accurate. That is, once there's a critical mass of data and assuming the data pulled is clean. I'm not sure how the guy's system pulls the data, because I see errors all the time, mostly with teams being placed in the wrong regions or age groups. But, if you see any of that, you can report it and those errors are usually cleaned up. Given the high volume of teams YSR tracks across the country, there has to be some kind of automated data pull from GotSoccer and a few other sources of game results.

In my opinion, both teams are overrated. There are some teams currently ranked below them that are catching up quick.

The top teams should want to play each other as much as possible. Not only will that make them better, but it will also make the ranking data more accurate. And the more they play in tourneys against out of state competition, namely SoCal teams, the more accurate the national rankings will be. Will someone keep the 2010 FBR going this season?

TFA Elite -- a u10 team with almost 28 points in YSR. Pretty solid.

The last team to do that in YSR was a rec team out of Palo Pinto County.

Such an obvious drop off, yet Renegades has beat Samba in futsal and only lost in the last 2 minutes in the last game the 2 played? Samba is an excellent team, but Renegades is too. Making big waves...two weeks prior FCD suffered a 6-0 loss to Samba then conceded the make up game in PLD because that loss weeks prior was fresh. Very nice guy btw(FCD Coach)!!
And get your facts straight it was 2-1 in the final. Couldn’t find the back of the net, just like when we beat y’all two weeks prior. Be honest with yourself. Nearly 30 shots on goal by Samba to a renegades mere 8 maybe, most were free kicks. The community knows y’all have one player that’s awesome and apparently y’all have a damn good keeper too. Keep working and the gap may close. I will give y’all this, you all have a great culture over there and stand behind your coach but let’s be clear, y’all didn’t get that top seed for a reason in JGAL. You didn’t mention that 4-1 loss back in June but you are holding on to a Futsal win which was what? 5-4 maybe? 3 y’all scored off of penalty kicks by that previously mentioned awesome player y’all have. And also...maybe that 1-0 win to FCD was the one that ended right at the first half water break due to weather. Wasn’t looking too good for FCD so there wasn’t much desire to make the game up at 9:15pm. Thanks for your compliments but sell that story to someone else.

I didn’t mean to slight FCD at all. Renegades should def be worried about them after squeaking by Ennis Thunder and roughing up Garland Tigres 11’s team.

Very classy. It is 9 year old soccer. I'm just trying to say don't discount some very good teams out there. There arent just 2 in north texas and you turn around and start attacking other teams. Renegades are a good team all around, built from the ground up with 7 of the original players still in the roster. Every player is a huge part of the game. They deserve some respect, which you obviously arent capable of. I wonder if your daughter was the one that flew up behind on of the Renegades' midfielders and kicked her legs of from under her and elbowed her on the way down? Ball wasnt even in the same part of the field which is probably the only reason the ref didnt see it. And since I am sure you saw neither of those games this weekend, I'll just ignore the rest of that.

And I didn’t attack anyone’s team. Stated game facts. I’m just tripping on the “we beat samba in Futsal!!” comment.

You came straight at Samba...you didn’t mention Colvin and the person who you were responding to originally mentioned both teams. Why is that? You know why now let everyone else know.

PS...I didnt say the other renegades weren’t good...I said one was “Awesome”. Not a slight to others just an extended praise to one.

Ha, you basically say the the other 12 girls on the Renegades are bad and say that isnt a slight to anyone? And I didnt mention Colvin in my original post because they are the Rush/Dfeeters Voutier of the 10s. They play a clean game, and play it well. Props to them for sure.

This is some funny stuff. I used to care this much a few years ago as well. Most of you probably realize, or I hope that you do, that these "top" teams most likely will drastically change over the next few years or not be around at all. Due to all of the "elite" team and league options in a few years, none of this will even matter, and your DDs will be playing with a whole new batch of kiddos. Good luck to all
