LH QT Seeding

Using the serpentine method of seeding I tried to unwind the LH QT Brackets to see if anything "funny" happened as far as where teams landed versus last years results.  bolded teams seem to be (IMHO) seeded differently than what I would have expected.  Not sure why Infinity was dropped so low which put them into a bracket of three.  and wondering if any of these "funny moves" affected any certain bracket.

Thanks Tiki I thought they normally place 1 vs 26 2 vs 25 ect. then work the serp back. Leaving the 26 and 25 in the groups of 3. Maybe I am mistaken.

It looks like they moved A and B  to be the three team groups from F.  If that is the case the seeding would be something like.

Not sure if there are as many questions if you look at it from the method above.  Maybe someone at Lake Highland could let us know if this is the method that was used.  Or if we are close. This also seems to make more sense as therr is not as many head issues that Tika head highlighted based on the positions in the respective leagues.

I'm confused about Infinty's seeding.  Even with DDsdadfor soccer version, Infinity would have been in a bracket with 4 teams.  I can't tell if they got a better deal or worse deal by being seeded out of order based on their placement last year.

I'd say Infinity is set up to do well for the first weekend of QT. AFC, their bracket's #1 seed, had a tough King Tut bracket and didn't do well this weekend. Don't know about Meja, but Infinity's other game is against FCD Blue. FCD Blue had a frustrating weekend as well.

Looks like they have a chance of making it through to the second weekend.

Looking at DDSdad's which sort of makes sense.  I would agree with Tiki-Taka on infinity being a little lower if you take PPL results and their tourney results into effect.  Probably a 9 seed if you base it on those items alone.  Which would have had them play Frisco Fusion.  Plano champs and showing pretty good form over King Tutt Weekend.  Both situations you have to beat the teams in your bracket to get out.  26 teams only 4 get through odds are against a lot of teams.  But i think DD got one thing wrong looking at his chart.  We got a 25 seed if Redstar is the 1 seed.  Thank you very much.  That extra seed has allowed our side not to play Redstar.  Looking at how they have done in Tut. That's also a good thing.  

Looking at DD's list I think it's pretty darn close to how I would seed it based on PPL. Classic and recent tournaments.  (other than Infinty and maybe Lightning.  

I guess the girls just got to get out there and play and the chips will fall where they may.  They way this tourney is organized with 8 getting through to next week the best four should come out at the end of the day.


Again I think it should be a fun week.

One could easily replace Andro Blue with Kicks Blue though. Plenty at stake in their game against each other on Saturday. Also, NTX Strikers vs Liverpool Keegan on Sunday has the same intrigue. Really believe Strikers or Keegan should've been placed in Bracket B.

Do any of the other 14 have a chance to upset the expected 12?

Doesn't look like it from my review of the 26.

The FC Dallas West Texas team could be a dark horse. Don't know much about them.

Infinity almost didnt make roster for this year. Lost 3 of their main offensive weapons. Heard they only had 11 on signing day.

I think this is a good call, and Bracket E looks like the bracket of death in this one.

Andro and Kicks Blue is a toss up, and FC Dallas West Texas has an outstanding forward that could step into any D1 team and start....speed, vision & skill - she looks like the real deal to me.

Don't know anything about their defense or the rest of their team, but if they're even decent she is enough to make them very dangerous.

AFC White should win their bracket and out perform their sister team, AFC Red....

Does anyone know why FC Dallas 01 South Blue is not entered - they were one of the best teams in PPL last year - not much D but scoring machine...
