I'm not sure how the miscommunication occurred, but here are some facts regarding Andromeda - Blue:

(1) There were absolutely no guest players helping out at King Tut. Everyone who took the field was a signed player for the upcoming season.

(2) Prior to King Tut, the team was very full. There were regularly 22+ girls attending the practices. They had come from all over but several were from the recently dissolved Inspire team. I believe that is what you were seeing from Oswaldogg in that he was expressing his appreciation for such a substantial interest in the team.

(3) There were indeed a few key (signed) players that could not compete in King Tut due to injury or being out of town. It was great to see those in attendance cover for their teammates.

(4) My daughter is new to the team (which is why I know all of the above), but I believe she is one of around 6 in total that have joined. In other words, the core group is the same that was in place last season.

All that being said, I don't want to perpetuate some of the suggestions that this team is the latest, greatest threat to hit the LHGCL QT. They had a great season in PPL2 in the spring but are definitely still figuring each other out and learning the coach's expectations. King Tut was just one tournament... and this weekend is the one that "matters". Anything can happen. It's justasport played by 12-13 year old girls.

Not surprising. I'm pretty sure the three players from FC Dallas South Blue that went to Lightning are rostered with D3 Black... not white.

lady aztecs, sting okeefe and kicks blue will all make it back into LH.
4th spot will go to Andro Blue, Ntx strikers or possibly AFC red(depending on how many returning players they have).

There are a LOT of times black helps white...
But, at least 2 of the FCD South girls were with black in Puma Cup.

Second weekend is sure to be a good one. Still believe there are at least six viable options for those four slots.

Well clearly this Lightening team that played last night did not have the benefit of those top players who were on FCD South Blue....They would have at least scored

Just one game tonight but it’s a big one. IMO the winner will move on to week 2, the loser will be saying “what it” the rest of the year.

And Andro Blue has to turn around and play Kicks Blue tomorrow at 12:30.

FCD West Texas has to travel a very long way; hopefully they are already in town getting rested up. Nothing like being in the car for five hours and then having to play a game.

im only going by what i have been told and that LP Keegan has improved its roster from last year and that to me equals a 90% chance. But i love the quote and that is how i am feeling.

I watched Andro Blue go through Sting Central like a knife through hot butter last Saturday at King Tut....Their fate should be decided by 2PM tomorrow. Their game on Sunday should be easier. These first two games.....

I guess we'll know more about that roster improvement around 3:15 PM on Sunday. I heard they lost their best player, not sure about whether the ones they added make up for that. NTX has clearly improved and Keegan tied them during league play, so Sunday will be a good measure of where they both are.

Don't know about last 4, but last 8 is likely given lp/striker domination of bracket in first game - 20 points will probably be enough.

Some of these teams recently met at Ken Smith. Don't know if they had "upgraded" rosters or guests at that Tourney.
